Follow these steps to create an API key for BonData.
Step 1: Access API Settings
- Log in to PagerDuty
- Go to Integrations → Developer Tools → API Access Keys
Step 2: Create an API Key
- Click Create New API Key
- Enter a description (e.g.,
BonData Integration)
- Choose the key type:
- Read-only - for read access only
- Full Access - for read and write access
- Click Create Key
Step 3: Copy the API Key
Copy the key immediately - it starts with u+ and won’t be shown again.
Step 4: Enter Credentials
Enter your PagerDuty API key in BonData.
For enhanced security, consider using a read-only key if BonData only needs to read data.
