OpenAI API Key Setup

Follow these steps to create an API key for BonData.

Step 1: Access API Settings

  1. Go to OpenAI Platform
  2. Sign in to your account
  3. Click your profile icon → View API keys

Step 2: Create an API Key

  1. Click Create new secret key
  2. Enter a name (e.g., BonData Integration)
  3. Click Create secret key
  4. Copy the key immediately - it starts with sk- and won’t be shown again

Step 3: Enter Credentials

Enter your OpenAI API key in BonData.
API usage is billed to your OpenAI account. Set usage limits in your account settings to avoid unexpected charges.
