# Anthropic

> Connect BonData to your Anthropic account to track Claude API usage and costs

Anthropic is an AI safety company and the creator of the Claude family of language models. With BonData, you can use Claude models in your Agent workflows for AI enrichment, data normalization, and content generation - known for strong instruction-following and nuanced reasoning.

## Anthropic API Key Setup

Follow these steps to create an API key for BonData.

### Step 1: Access API Settings

1. Go to [Anthropic Console](https://console.anthropic.com/)
2. Sign in to your account
3. Navigate to **Settings** → **API Keys**

### Step 2: Create an API Key

1. Click **Create Key**
2. Enter a name (e.g., `BonData Integration`)
3. Click **Create Key**
4. **Copy the key immediately** - it starts with `sk-ant-` and won't be shown again

### Step 3: Enter Credentials

Enter your Anthropic API key in BonData.

  API usage is billed to your Anthropic account. Monitor usage in the Console dashboard.
